Covered Patio Floor Gets Wet

The back porch is where my washer and dryer reside and it also gets wet but doesn t get quite as much sun and takes forever to dry.

My porch is soaking wet almost like it rained on the porch with no covering at all. I have a covered screened in front porch that does get wet with the florida storms and it does get plenty of sun but not enough directly to really dry the porch out quickly. When the air vapor cools down and matches the floor temperature condensation forms on the concrete this is also known as concrete sweating. Laughing we get some 45 degree days quite a few in a row and then all of a sudden we get a south wind and it s about 75 degrees and about 80 percent humidity.

This started only a few weeks ago and the spot dries up within a day. Water it not dripping down from above. The wall feels dry. It does this whether there is any wind or not so it has to be something in the concrete causing it.

It just sweats to the point where it s this is a covered concrete porch. I have not found a solution either. And it s like the outside of a glass of cold water. Stone brick concrete and ceramic patio tiles sometimes have a common problem during the hot humid months of summer.
